Downtown Chiropractic Clinic offers patients the ability to utilize their health care insurance to help pay for the cost of their office treatments, in fact we are an In-network provider for almost all major insurance carriers in this area. We are also able to bill workman’s comp for work injuries and auto insurance for automobile injuries (also called Personal Injury).
Not all plans include coverage for the various services the clinic offers, and we encourage you to contact your private or corporate insurance company to verify benefits and eligibility prior to your first visit as we DO NOT accept responsibility for verifying your benefits on your behalf. We will do our best to look up your benefits and provide you an estimate of the cost of your care based on your insurance plan and fee schedule. However we can not guarantee the accuracy of the information provided to us on the various web portals we use find this information, ultimately it is the responsibility of the insured to know the specifics of their plan (Click the BUTTON BELOW for full disclaimer and financial agreement details).
Below you will find a list of some of the major insurance companies the clinic accepts.. If you do not see your company listed, please contact our office, it may be that we are still In-network but if not we will be able to assist you in researching your options.
For those patients without insurance coverage or for those patients who do not elect to utilize their benefits at this time, our practitioners do offer affordable payment plans to keep the cost of your treatment reasonable.
For those using insurance we are happy to provide the service of billing your insurance company on your behalf and will accept payment from them directly, but any monies owed on your account are ultimately your responsibility per the financial agreement you signed.
You should receive an explanation of benefits from your insurance company after they process our claims. If anything on there seems different that what we quoted you in our estimate or it appears they are denying any claims, please call us. The vast majority of the time this is easily explainable as either a normal contracted write off or a billing error on our part that can be easily corrected. Our goal is to provide as much transparency as possible and take away any uneasiness around the billing process. For this to happen we just ask you communicate with us to help us work through any issues or confusion.
All copays and payment for services not covered by insurance will be collected at the time of service. If you are unable to pay at the time of your visits please let us know and we can work with you to set up a payment plan.
For patients with deductible and co insurance plans, we will bill your insurance and then send you a statement for your balance.
We do accept payments from HSAs. Most all of our services are acceptable to submit to your HSA, however we are not a part of your contract with your HSA plan so ultimately it is up to you to verify what they do and do not accept. If you need we are happy to send you itemized statements to submit for HSA reimbursement at any time.
